STAFF RECRUITMENT The Web School of Social Sciences is a non-profit school currently seeking senior academics who wish to extend their teaching practice through the worldwide web. There is no upper restriction on age. Courses should involve around 40 hours of study including core readings, lectures, and on-line tutorials. There will be no formal assessment or qualification, though the School will award certificates to students who participate regularly.
Course leaders will receive student fees less course set-up and running costs. Since overheads are minimal there is no limit in principle to the number of courses that can be offered in this way. Courses at undergraduate and post-graduate levels will be considered in any discipline relevant to self and social understanding.
